To receive CPE credit, you will need to answer 5 quiz questions throughout the webinar presentation, for which you will get feedback. At the end of the module, you will need to answer an 8 question post exam with a passing grade of 75% to receive CPE credit.
In completing and passing the final exam you will receive a certificate of completion by email.
In order to receive your CPE certificate you will need to login to your AAA Member Dashboard and follow the instructions below:
1). Visit https://my.aaahq.org/My-Account/My-Education and log in if prompted.
2). Under My Education Credits click on each Field of Study per Meeting, and will be able to view, download and print each certificate for your records.

The University of Mississippi’s Patterson School of Accountancy is initiating efforts to embed data analytics throughout the undergraduate curriculum. In this webinar, Christine Cheng will speak about her experiences in designing and teaching a new course that exposes sophomore accounting majors to the career possibilities across accounting through the integration of data analytics. The course covers projects in Financial Literacy, Financial Accounting, Financial Statement Analysis, Managerial (Cost) Accounting, Auditing, Individual Taxation, Corporate Taxation and ESG. The data analytics process covered in the class is designed to help prepare students for internships by emphasizing a broad range of skills in Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau as well as introducing students to critical thinking, problem solving, and effective communication.
Learning objective: Identify and explain key data analytics skills utilized in modern accounting careers and illustrate their integration into a sophomore-level accounting curriculum.
